Description
Prosciutto di San Daniele is an Italian raw-cured ham with DOP certification (Protected Designation of Origin), produced exclusively in the commune of San Daniele del Friuli. Its production relies on only two ingredients: pork legs raised and slaughtered in 10 regions of central and northern Italy, and sea salt, with no added preservatives, nitrites, or nitrates. It is distinguished by its guitar-shaped form, the use of a whole pork shank, and its sweet, aromatic flavor.
