Tomatoes are harvested in July, August and September and processed to preserve their taste, aroma and nutritional properties. Tomatoes are washed, selected, peeled and diced to prepare for the next stage.
Basil and tomato paste are added, then the product is heated to high temperatures, bottled and pasteurized to ensure its long-term stability. Alce Nero organic tomato pulp with basil contains no additives.
